A conveyancing solicitor, has been granted £26,475 by an employment tribunal after being made redundant, within just four weeks following their disclosure of pregnancy.
In a case heard in Newcastle, it was revealed that Dobson was in discussions for a director role at Michael Cook Law (in the north east) and was in the midst of negotiating her salary, when she informed Cook of her pregnancy at nine weeks.
